Severn River Report Card is posted at Severn River Association's site. Overall very slight decline, but I can tell you that in the time since this report was compiled (2025 data), the river has exhibited an uptick in SAV this summer, which is a one indicator of water quality and overall health improvement. 🤞 https://severnriver.org/news/2025-severn-river-report-card/
Public comment period is OPEN for the ASMFC's Menhaden Draft Addendum II, "which will consider reducing the Chesapeake Bay reduction fishery cap by up to 50% and creating quota periods to distribute harvest under the cap more evenly throughout the fishing season."
