Annapolis Sailboat Show

October 10th through 14th. Sailors from around the globe gather in beautiful downtown Annapolis every October for the Annapolis Sailboat Show. This annual celebration of sailing features floating docks lined with sailboats from manufacturers around the world. Multihulls, monohulls, cruisers, racers, sailing dinghies and more. Show tents line the shore, stocked with the latest in nautical gear and accessories, electronics, communication equipment, sails, rigging, education, charter companies, clubs and more. Annapolis Powerboat Show

October 3rd through 6th at Annapolis City Dock. October brings the transformation of Ego Alley and Annapolis Harbor into a boater’s dream, as floating docks create a temporary marina showcasing new and premiering boats and the latest in boating accessories, equipment and apparel during the Annapolis Powerboat Show. Bands in the Sand

Each summer 1,600 guests gather on the beach, dance the night away to live music, and raise a drink to a saved Bay. Tickets are all-inclusive and include a tax-deductible donation to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. Attendees have reason to celebrate knowing their attendance and support directly fuels our mission to save the Bay. Last year CBF raised over $500,000 with Bands in the Sand. 2024 Saltwater Fishing Expo

Presented by the Annapolis Anglers Club. Features dozens of local tackle and fishing vendors, seminars with boat captains and expert anglers, food and beverages (pit beef sandwiches, oysters, etc.), charter captains/guides on site, raffle prizes, and much more.   8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $5 per person; kids 14 & under are free. Walk for the Woods

Walk for the Woods is Scenic Rivers Land Trust's signature community event celebrating the joy of the outdoors and our local, protected woods. This beloved spring event is scheduled for Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Bacon Ridge Natural Area in Crownsville (rain date: 4/28). Scenic Rivers will again partner with Anne Arundel County’s Department of Recreation and Parks to offer a wonderful opportunity to hike and explore this beautiful wilderness just minutes from downtown Annapolis. The day features guided hikes, including bird watching, amphibian searches and naturalist hikes, and educational programs. Attendees are also invited to explore the Bacon Ridge Natural Area’s 1000+ acres of woodlands, wetlands, streams, and meadows on their own. It is always a beautiful, relaxing day in our local woods!
