Organized by Maryland Department of Natural Resources. A trout fishing opportunity just for youth anglers! Only individuals 15 and younger may fish in certain put-and-take trout areas from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on March 22, one week before the traditional season opening. The areas that will be open only to youth on this day are those listed as Closure 1. The designated areas are listed by county below.
